The INSTITUTO NACIONAL DE CIENCIAS AGRÍCOLAS (INCA) develops its international collaboration to fulfil directly and significantly the interests of the main strategic research fields: Plant breeding for agriculture under stress conditions, Characterization and management of rhizospheric microorganisms and, Bioactive products applied to increase crop production and disease resistance, other fields of interest are Biological mechanisms of tolerance, Plant biotechnology, and Flowers and Ornamental plants.

The cooperation is developed with institutions and research groups of recognized excellence and high scientific level, on basic and applied research in order to support the sustainable development of research and human resources. It is based on research projects, trainings, courses, workshops, and other activities.
